Super Night Vision 4.0 takes advantage of Sony STARVIS 2’s advances in high sensitivity and low noise technology to help the U3000 capture clearer footage in low-light conditions.
Corrects images through color balance adjustment in environments with strong sunlight or shadows.
Adjusts the exposure to record clear footage when there is strong sunlight or headlight.
Minimizes image distortion typically caused by a wide angle lens, and delivers a close-to-real image of the world.
Prevents heat-related damage by automatically switching the dash cam to low-power mode if the vehicle’s interior temperature rises excessively during Parking Mode. In Smart Parking Mode, the dash cam records incidents triggered by impacts only until its operating temperature is safe again to resume Motion and Impact Detection or Time Lapse Parking Mode.
Initiates a 20-second recording when there is motion present in front of camera lenses or impact with the vehicle (10s before and 10s after the event).
Radar Parking mode is a low-powered recording mode that utilizes the U3000’s built-in radar to monitor motion with minimal power consumption (requires hardwiring or OBD-II cable). This allows for longer buffered parking surveillance, so you also have footage of events leading to an incident. When a motion or impact is detected, the U3000 will save a 20-sec video clip (10s before and 10s after the incident has been detected).
