What you're about to read is mostly a comparison of this bag against my Peak Design Everyday Sling 10L, a bag that retails for $149 and seems to be a hot seller despite serious design issues that make the bag absurdly uncomfortable and nearly inaccessible while packed and worn. It's so popular, in fact, that Amazon created their own counterfeit version, even giving it the same, trademarked, "Everyday Sling" name at the beginning before changing it due to their infringement, and selling it for $39. The reason why I'm telling you all of this: I want to save you from buying the Peak Design bag as you will be completely dissatisfied with it if you intend to use it as anything other than a purse. Using it with a DSLR or mirrorless ILC camera becomes masochistic and you'll be abandoned on a street corner, left feeling dirty and used knowing you'd just spent $150 for a bag that you gave the benefit of doubt for 2 weeks and now it's past the return window. Sling-type bags are all about accessibility; a poorly designed sling bag that makes your gear less accessible than if it were in a backpack that's locked in the trunk of your car has lost the plot and has no reason to exist other than to serve as a really ugly purse. That's the Peak Design Everyday Sling... an efficient style made inefficient due to a series of thoughtless design choices. Now, on to the Incase Camera Sling Pack...I bought this for $26. At that price, this bag is a steal. My hope was that this bag would outperform the Peak Design 10L Everyday Sling and it has in every single way except one. This bag is somewhere between 10 and 15 liters with just enough pockets to keep organized but not so many that you forget where you put things. It includes 2 dividers attached by hook and loop fasteners and an externally accessed laptop compartment that’s large enough to hold a 13” laptop or tablet. The beauty of it is the large, easily accessed and fully configurable main compartment with a wide, zipped opening that offers both accessibility and ability to see into the bag. Once you've unzipped the flap and grabbed your camera, you're able to easily zip the compartment back up to secure your items with no need to fight the bag. Returning your camera back into the bag is just as easy, with its wide, unobstructed opening. It’s able to hold my medium format camera and 2 lenses with ease; most importantly, I’m able to get the camera in and out of the bag without fighting the bag, even while slung... a huge improvement over the Peak Design equivalent. Need your iPad or laptop? No need to again fight the needlessly small zipper of the main compartment as the Incase Camera Sling thoughtfully designed in a dedicated, external access point to the exceptionally well padded tablet/laptop slot. And another basic feature that's included compared to Peak Design? A thick, densely padded strap with buckle for easy off and on.Where it lags behind a bit is in the padding and a lack of external straps or anchors for carrying a tripod. The former is acceptable, just not the best, and is easily remedied either by using spare dividers, or buying some padded dividers, and lining the bag with them. Personally, I used the padded dividers I had from a spare WANDRD camera cube, adding both padding and structure. The lack of provisions to carry a tripod is tragic but I can’t knock it for the price. I can pay a tailor to add anchor loops, or copy the design from Incase’s other bags, and still have spent less than $75 in total; exactly half that of the Peak Design bag I bought and replaced with this.I also bought the Incase DSLR Camera Sling and, aside from having provisions for tripod carry, i found it to be inferior to this bag due to a better pocket layout, access to the main compartment and access while being worn. For $26, it’s not a perfect camera sling bag, but it’s a lot better than it should be for the price.Great camera sling, well made and comfortable to wear for hours. The only downside is the padding, just not enough padding, luckily i had a million inserts from older bags so i padded the inside compartments myself, this is definetly not a camera bag you can't drop on the floor even from 2 inches away. Even with all bads i'm keeping it cause no-one else makes one just like it. Fyi, this bag can fit a 13" MacBook pro(the new slim ones only )I thought this would be slightly smaller, but it does it’s job. Would have loved to see top access to the inside. Also the strap comes loose a couple times, I’m always adjusting it to stay in place. Would not recommend. Spend a little more money to have something that you don’t have to constantly adjust when going about your day. This bag has been my everyday bag since I got it. I have a 13 inch laptop (Razer Stealth) and camera (Sony RX10) in the bag. No issues. Zippers are high quality. The bag holds its shape well. I’ll be using it for the foreseeable future.Profession: product photographyGreat bag, love the size. Unfortunately shortly after use the shoulder strap broke and I was unable to use the bag anymore. I reached out directly to Incase for a replacement or repair but haven’t heard back. This review unfortunately has changed from a bag review to a customer service review. Will keep you posted as things progress.Great value for the price. I was suspicious at first at how cheep it was. You will need extra pads from your old camera bags. Looks and feels high quality otherwise.Best bag everIt's the best one for on the go businessIch habe keinen anderen Rucksack oder andere Umhängetasche mit einem so minimalistischem und stylischem Design gefunden.
