So, here's the story for me. I bought my little cousin a camera for her birthday gift a couple months ago as she wanted to pretend that she was a 'kid youtuber'. She played with it for a couple weeks but eventually she stopped her hobby as she told me that it was too heavy for her. It was definitely a mistake for me to buy her one without considering the size and the weight of the camera. Once I heard her feedback, I was looking for a new one that would bring her hobby back and I came across this one on Amazon. There are many different kids cameras on Amazon but this one wasn't too 'toy-looking', yet it was still a kid-sized camera with a good look with the light pink color. Don't let the compact size of the camera fool you. It's still packed with quality features such as high quality 1080P resolution with timer, anti-shake and face detection, which are features that are typically included in high-end cellphones. The best takeaway for me was the built-in filters. I haven't seen a digital camera with built-in filters before and it makes it really fun to try different effects on the content that's being made with it.I think the only wish that I have for the camera is the memory capacity. I wish it was slightly bigger than 64GB capacity for the cards as the memory can fill quickly when you film lengthy videos at 1080p (especially kids take many random videos as they play around). However, overall I am very happy with the quality and the content that it comes with. If someone's looking for a good quality camera that's suited for kids (even for the growing kids; not pre-school level), this would be a good choice as it's feature-packed and the design is not too kiddish.
